We used the Baked Bear to cater an event at our university and had a fantastic experience! Kevin and Ethan provided such a seamless experience from coordinating set up to distributing the ice cream sandwiches. All our students loved the delicious treats the Baked Bear provided! I absolutely loved this delightful place. Very nice customer service for the first time visiting. The guy allowed me to taste diff flavors of ice cream and gave me how it works. I admit I was a little too excited!! Did two diff flavors of cookies . Omg the best!! Please come to Sterling VA!!!
Amazing experience. We recently held a Nellis Group ice cream event at this location. Kevin is a great owner and very flexible to help everyone have a great time. The smells and food are amazing. Love the options and choices. The variety is fun and of course the ice cream sandwiches are divine. Do yourself a favor and make this your sweet treat this week!!
The Baked Bear offers rich original options for sundaes and ice cream, with their Brownie based or cookie based sundae, and ice cream sandwiches with your choice of cookies for the outer layer. Available ice cream flavors are also a bit more unique to push you outside your comfort zone and send you on a new experience with your summertime taste buds. Some traditional flavors are even omitted on their own, so be prepared to be bold in your selection. The line can be fast but long and is cramped once inside the store. Know what you want when you get to the right of the counter or your experience will be rushed by the staff. I got to the register with my guest and they took her order but did not make it before ringing us up because she had to change her order when an ingredient was out. I paid and they had us wait to make her's while the continued help the next two guests. This was disappointing as my ice cream was melting while o waited for her so we wouldn't be eating our desserts on our own. There is room for improvement here. Others were shifted to the side the same causing a backup of people paid but not served. But we will still return for the selections.
Who was the first time going in and the team was super nice and welcoming and explained all the options that they had they were super patient. Definitely recommend.
I felt like a big kid in here!!!! Some much to choose from! It was my first time here, and the customer service was great, the young lady helped me build my ice cream sandwiches with customer favorites! Gooey bear cookie (bottom) Snickerdoodle cookie (top) Raspberry crumble (pie crust inside) ice cream 1/2 scoop French vanilla ice cream 1/2 scoop Warmed to perfection!!! I loved every moment of this! There will be a next time very soon!
The best ice cream in the area! I’d definitely recommend their ‘Bear Batter’, so good! The cookies were amazing, they were a little too rich for me, but the bites I had were delicious, I’d definitely recommend getting the cookie warmed. The staff were very patient and helpful as well! Came to get dessert after celebrating a birthday, and it was the perfect way to end the day! Will definitely be coming back in the future.
My new favorite dessert place! The customer service is wonderful and everything I’ve tried here is delicious! We loved the brownies, but my favorite is 2 chocolate chip cookies with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in between. Cannot get enough of it! Not a ton of room to sit, but a cute place. You’ll need to park on the street or at a garage and walk, but it’s a nice area.
